Reliance Digital opens first store in Mumbai

The Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Retails's consumer durables arm Reliance Digital today opened its first store in the city.

The company had previously launched stores in Thane and Vashi near here.

"We are delighted to open our first Reliance Digital store in Mumbai. We have got an overwhelming response from our existing stores in Vashi and Thane and are pleased to extend the same shopping experience to our customers in the city," Reliance Digital Chief Executive Brian Bade said.

Reliance Digital will also expand its presence with seven new stores in Bhimavaram (AP), Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bhopal, Bangalore, Chennai and Mumbai, during Diwali.

The latest store is spread over 9,000 sqft with over 5,000 products, including IT and accessories, consumer electronics, home appliances and mobile telephony products.

Reliance Retail is a subsidiary of Reliance Industries and operates over 1,000 stores across 86 cities.

Reliance Retail is a multi-format retailer that operates Reliance Market, Reliance Fresh, Reliance Super, Reliance Mart, Delight, Reliance Trends and Reliance Digital.
