The two-member legislature party of the Janata Dal (United) has decided to vote for BJP candidate SS Ahluwalia in the Rajya Sabha elections in Jharkhand on Thursday.

The two-member legislature party of the Janata Dal (United) has decided to vote for BJP candidate SS Ahluwalia in the Rajya Sabha elections in Jharkhand on Thursday.
"Our party national president Sharad Yadav's clear instruction to our two MLAs is to vote for BJP candidate SS Ahluwalia," party's state unit spokesman Pramod Kumar Mishra said.
Excise Minister Gopal Krishna Patar and MLA Sudhar Choudhary are the two MLAs who represent JD(U) in the Jharkhand Assembly.
Besides Ahluwalia, JMM's Sanjeev Kumar and Congress' Pradeep Kumar Balmachu are contesting for two Rajya Sabha seats from Jharkhand.
