Rajasthan's first chief minister remembered on his birth anniversary

Rajasthan's first chief minister, the late Tikaram Paliwal, was remembered today on the occasion of his 104th birth anniversary.

Rich tribute was paid to Paliwal as leading government functionaries including chief minister Ashok Gehlot assembled at the state assembly secretariat to remember the former leader.

Gehlot and other cabinet members paid floral tribute to Paliwal at the ceremony that was also attended by his family members.

Paliwal was born on April 24, 1907, and was the first elected chief minister of Rajasthan in 1952.
