PM offer condolences to late Patwant Singh's family

Prime minister Manmohan Singh today condoled the death of noted writer, philanthropist and activist Bhai Patwant Singh.
 
"Patwant Singh had made a mark in the literary arena with his creative sensitivities. His vast knowledge on wide ranging issues along with his vision made a difference to innumerable human lives," the Prime Minister said in his condolence message.

He said Patwant Singh's legacy will continue to live through his writings.
 
The noted writer, who was 84 years old, breathed his last on Saturday.
 
The prime minister offered his condolences to the members of the bereaved family.
