Maintaining that the accession of Jammu & Kashmir with India is "full and final", several political parties and outfits today took out a rally in Jammu.

The rally was organised by Jammu and Kashmir People's Forum (JKPF) with leaders of BJP, VHP, Shiv Sena, Sangraish Samiti, Al State Kashmir Pandit Conference, Revoulationery party, Dogra Liberation Front (DLF) and several trade organisations joining it.

"Accession of Jammu and Kashmir with India is full and final. It is inseparable and integral part of the country like Junagarh and Hyderabad," BJP MP and senior BJP leader SS Ahluwalia told reporters.

"We have made an fervent appeal to the people of the Jammu region to observe the accession Day on October 26 by hoisting national flags, illuminating entire area, bursting crackers and distributing sweets," JJPF convenor Ramesh Sabherwal told reporters.

He also appealed the state government to declare a state holiday on the day.

Meanwhile, Jammu & Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) today said it will celebrate October 27 as National Integration Day & October 26 as Vijay Divas in the state.

"We will celebrate October 26 as Vijay Divas and October 27 as National Integration Say to mark accession with India at all district headquarters of Jammu & Kashmir," state President and MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia told reporters.
