Senior BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi today alleged that the US and Pakistan had groomed terrorism in the world and said these countries were now haunted by their own creation, a Bhasmasur (self-destroyer).
"The US and Pakistan are responsible for terrorism to a great extent as they have created and groomed terror outfits in several parts of the world," he said at a function here.
"As they have created the demon, they are also the worst sufferers of it as it has become a 'Bhasmasur' (self-destroyer) for them," the local MP said. On Indian tradition of science and technology, he said, "we can not understand Indian science and philosophy through a western view. If we really want to understand it, we have to look at it through Indian perspective and vision."
The former BJP president was speaking after releasing 'Bharatiya Vigyan Vaibhav' (the glory of Indian Sciences) written by industrialist Dinanath Jhunjhunwala.
The book is a collection of 39 articles about Indian contribution to science.
