Army chief General VK Singh today said that admission by the Pakistani army of having suffered losses in the Kargil war has "exposed its real face" before the world.

"The admission of the loss of 453 soldiers in the Kargil war has exposed the real face of Pakistan before the world", Gen Singh, who is here to take part in the 13th reunion celebrations of Rajput Regimental Centre, Fatehgarh, told newspersons.

"Pakistan had till now been denying any role by its army in the Kargil war in order to hide to the world the blunder committed by it", he said.

To a question whether Pakistani soldiers could also be fighting alongside terrorists in Kashmir today, Gen Singh said it cannot be ruled out though it cannot also be claimed, as of now, without any concrete evidence.
