Bhubaneshwar: The Maoists have threatened to eliminate Orissa finance minister Prafulla Chandra Ghadai. They also threatened to blow up the Orissa Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO) office.

In a letter on Thursday, left with the IDCO diarist, the Maoists alleged massive corruption in the allotment of land to industrialists by IDCO. They accused the finance minister of putting pressure on officials to give land to relatives.

The police said besides Ghadai, revenue minister Surya Nararan Patro, industry secretary Saurav Garg and MLA Aurobinda Dhali were 'Maoist targets'.

Meanwhile, the police have arrested three more Maoists in southern Orissa.
