ShareAgartala: One person has been arrested with a foreign made loaded pistol from Kunjaban area near the state capital, police said today.
Two persons, speeding past the locality, were intercepted by residents last night.
While the pillion rider ran away, the motorcyclist was apprehended and the UK-make loaded pistol found in his possession.
The man, who was later handed over to the police, was involved in incidents of snatching of gold ornaments from women which had been witnessing a spurt in such cases.
