It's now the teams of the Intelligence Bureau (IB) along with the CBI, who have commenced the hunt for Amit Shah, the home minister of Gujarat. Sources said that CBI had intimated the central IB to look for Shah as he is not traceable since the CBI had summoned him.
Sources said that the CBI sleuths had sought IB's help to trace Shah. "IB has a wide network of information and its sources are spread in the government offices and officials," a source said.
Apart from that, the CBI sleuths have also formed five different teams to know the exact whereabouts of Shah. A source said that all the teams have camped at different locations to look for Shah.
Sources said that CBI teams are keeping a constant watch for Shah. "Almost all the teams are in Gujarat and they have been assigned specific locations," a source familiar with the development said.
CBI has already been using intelligence inputs supplied by the central IB, but now the IB has been specifically told to look for Shah at all possible locations and provide all their information to the CBI team.
