Even a week after the sensational robbery near Parimal Garden, in which the criminals escaped with money being carried by the Progressive Merchantile Co-operative Bank staff, the police are yet to nab the culprits.
The police are still groping in dark and are still in search of any concrete lead which could help them identify the outlaws. "We are currently focusing on the history-sheeters who had committed crime with the same modus operandi," senior police inspector at Ellisbridge police station, HM Kundaliya said.
Sources said police have zeroed in on a few mobile numbers and are expecting breakthrough soon.
The police have earlier discovered that six suspects, including two women, had left the city a few hours of the loot in a private bus.
The loot was committed at around 10:30 am on June 11 near the bank, while the bank staff were carrying the money from its branch office to head office in Kalupur.
