Union food processing minister Subodh Kant Sahay today said Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar's decision to return the flood donation amount to Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi was "nothing but an election stunt."

Reacting to reports about Kumar returning the donation received from Gujarat, Sahay, also a senior Congres leader, said "It is nothing but a political and election stunt".

Sahay, who was here to release a book titled Inspiring Thought of Sonia Gandhi at a function in Patna, alleged that the Nitish Kumar government had also failed to utilise the financial assistance extended to Bihar by the Centre during 2008 floods caused by river Kosi.

Alleging that both Kumar and Modi were the "two faces of the same coin", Sahay said Nitish's face as a secular politician stood exposed after he aligned with the BJP.

"Muslims will never fall prey to such a sinister political gameplan of Kumar", he added.
