The NGO trains tribal girls in income generation activities like food processing, mushroom cultivation and improved chullah-making besides imparting management skills.

Patronised by the Rourkela Steel Plant, tribal girls of an NGO, have popularised pickles, masala and chuda badam which it sells under the 'Srishti' brand in the Sundargarh district of Orissa.
The NGO, Sri Sai SMG of Jabaghat village, formed in 2008 under the RSP's 'Kishori' project, trains tribal girls in income generation activities like food processing, mushroom cultivation and improved chullah-making besides imparting management skills.
With its products selling well in the market, the self-help group has bought a machine with a Rs three lakh loan which can process 50kg of chowmein daily, RSP sources said today.
The NGO is currently supplying local markets and weekly bazars with this new product.
The RSP has adopted 16 villages in its periphery areas for all round development besides providing financial help, constructing roads, building schools and training farmers and tribal women.
