ShareSrinagar: A Nepali woman allegedly committed suicide today by hanging herself in Leh district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
The 45-year-old Nepali citizen, Tsering Dolma, was found hanging from the ceiling of her rented room at Sumoor-Nobra, 540 km from here, they said.
Dolma alongwith her husband Rinchen Lawa and four children was living in Nobra for last couple of years and the family members were working as labourers.
The woman was alone at her residence when she hanged herself, the police said adding the motive behind the act was not known.
