Veteran Congress leader and former Andhra Pradesh governor ND Tiwari may have to undergo a DNA test to come clean in a paternity suit filed by Rohit Shekhar.
The Delhi high court said on Wednesday, “The controversy can be settled only by examining photographs and [via] DNA test.” Shekhar, 31, who claims Tiwari is his biological father, has submitted over 100 photographs to the court in support. Shekhar says through his childhood, his mother Ujjwala Sharma and he were in constant touch with Tiwari.
Giving the octogenarian leader four weeks to file response in the case, justice JR Midha observed, “The whole controversy is because you [Tiwari] are not filing a reply.”
