Health of Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi, who is suffering from swine flu, is improving and he is responding well to the treatment, doctors attending to him said today.
"Modi's health has shown overall improvement over the last 24 hours," Dr Atul Patel, who is one of the doctors attending to the chief minister, said.
He said, "all parameters of his health are normal and he is responding very well to the treatment".
"However, he has been advised to take complete bed rest for few more days in isolation at his residence," he said.
The BJP leader had complained of cough, fever and body ache on Friday after his return from Russia and tested positive for the virus the same day.
