After making a calculated move in Bihar by asking, 'Who is Maut Ka Saudagar ?' political grand master Narendra Modi will make a move with world chess champion Vishwanathan Anand for creating a world record through Swarnim Chess Mahotsav.

Anand is coming to Gujarat on June 16, when he will have one-on-one talks with the chief minister. However, while it is not known whether Vishy will express his desire to invest in the state —like Bollywood stars — he will surely talk about the moves on the chess board that led him to victory in the world championship.
Highly placed sources in the state government said,

"Vishwanathan Anand will be visiting on Wednesday. He will be meeting the CM and the latter will be announcing the Swarnim Chess Mahotsav at Town Hall, Gandhinagar in the afternoon."
The state government is planning to create a world record by making 20,000 people play chess at one place at the same time.

"Out of these 20,000 about 15,000 will be students and 5000 will
be other chess players. We are planning to keep December 24 as the day for the world record event, as this was the day when Anand had won his first world chess championship."

"Chess has been introduced in many schools as a coaching game. This will help to identify Gujarat's talented chess players and who knows, Gujarat may produce India's next world chess champion in future," added the sources.

Students will be selected once inter-class and inter-school chess tournaments are played, after the on-line registration of all the students on a website. "Registration will not guarantee people that they can participate in the event, but there will be small tournaments at school, village, taluka and district level and the winners will be selected for the grand event."

Anand will also talk to the teachers in the state through BISAG during his visit. He is likely to speak about the moves that he played at the recent World championship, where he retained his title against Vassily Topalov.
