The journalistic fraternity in Nagpur has strongly condemned the murder of senior scribe Jyotirmoy Dey, and demanded resignation of Maharashtra Home Minister RR Patil and transfer of Mumbai police commissioner Arup Parnaik.

In an emergency meeting held here, the Nagpur Union of Working Journalists (NUWJ) and Tilak Patrakar Bhawan Trust demanded immediate resignation of Patil and transfer of Patnaik over the incident, a release said today.
