The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has introduced a new semi-luxury service on the Mumbai�"Surat route.
The inaugural bus left Mumbai Central at 7.30pm yesterday. It covers a distance of 316 km via Khetwadi-Girgaum, Parel, Senapati Bapat Marg-Dadar, Andheri, Borivali-Sukurwadi, Manor, Charoti, Talasari, Vapi, Valsad and Navsari, MSRTC PRO Mukund Dhus said.
MSRTC is providing Gujarati and Marathi newspapers to the passengers, free of cost, he said.
With this semi-luxury service, the long standing demand of passengers has been fulfilled, he added.
