A 30-year-old mother of two allegedly committed suicide along with her children by jumping in front of a moving train, police said today.
Sumitra with daughter Pratibha (13) and son, Vatan (11) jumped in front of the express train at Sakoti railway station
and created a tense environment on the station, police added.
The three died on the spot and were crushed within minutes, police confirmed.
Superintendent of police (Rural), Sharad Sachhan said that upon interrogating Sumitra's husband, who rushed to the spot after being informed about the incident, it has been indicated that an internal family feud is the cause of the incident.
