Money spent on political hoardings could be used for poor: Prabhat Jha

Jha, who was elected as the MP BJP president, said that he had directed the removal of hoardings featuring his pictures and added that he was only making a small effort in the direction.

Newly-elected Madhya Pradesh BJP president Prabhat Jha today said he was against money being misused on making of hoardings of political leaders. 

Addressing his first press conference after being elected state BJP president, Jha said that the money spent on the hoardings could be spent on the poor.

He was answering questions on the number of hoardings
that had sprung up in the city.

Jha, who was elected the state BJP president, said that he had directed the removal of hoardings featuring his pictures and added that he was only making a small effort in the direction.

He said that he was born in Bihar but would like to die in Madhya Pradesh and have his cremation on the banks of the river Narmada.

"I will not hide that I was born in Bihar but for over three decades I have been working in Madhya Pradesh," Jha said.
