Missing officer in Jammu and Kashmir yet to be traced

More than a month after an assistant sub-inspector went missing in Jammu and Kashmir, the state police is still clueless about where he is and has stepped efforts to trace him.
    
"All possible efforts have been made to trace out or have a clue about the missing officer but to no avail", inspector general of police (Railways) M A Anjum told reporters here today.
    
ASI Maharaj Krishen, who was posted with the Government Railway Police (GRP) at Udhampur had gone missing on December 28 while coming to Jammu on duty.
    
However, efforts have been stepped up to trace the officer with a special team headed by a DSP entrusted with the task, Anjum said.
