Minor girl raped in Uttar Pradesh

A minor girl was allegedly raped after she was given food laced with sedatives in Kaili village, police said today.

An FIR has been registered against three members of a family on a complaint filed by the victim's father Irshad.

The parents of the victim have alleged that Ratanlal allegedly offered food laced with sedatives to their daughter yesterday and later raped her. They have also alleged that Ratanlal's wife and daughter also helped him in committing the crime.

Police have sent the victim for a medical examination and further investigations are on.
