Primary students of Sagbara taluka in tribal-dominated Narmada district will get Xmas gift tomorrow as Gujarat government is all set to announce a scheme for them among slew of others. Chief minister Narendra Modi may announced 'Dudh Sanjeevani Yojana,'for the over 15,000 children tomorrow. As part of the scheme, government would provide 200 ml of flavoured milk to these children daily in their schools.
The other schemes are Sanklit Vikas Vadi Yojana (integrated development scheme), Pagarkha yojna (footwear scheme), Matsya Bij Yojana (fish breeding scheme) BRGF and Vikasshil Taluka Yojna.
Sanklit Vadi Yojna aims at making tribal farmers prosperous by bringing their 10,0000 ha under it, under the Pagarkha Yojana, all the children studying in the primary schools of Sagbara and Dediapada talukas will get foot wears at an affordable cost. Matsya Bij Yojana aims at generating employment for the tribal youths by launching fish breeding centre at Jitnagar village to be constructed at a total cost of Rs1.47 crore.
