Militant hideout busted in Jammu and Kashmir, ammunition seized

Army busted a militant hideout and recovered a substantial quantity of arms and ammunition in Reasi district.

Acting on a tip-off, troops launched a search operation at Bajali forest belt of Mahore and busted the hideout, defence sources said.

Total 8kg of explosives, 13 detonators, six rounds of UBGL, one round of RPG and three IED boxes with timer circuits were recovered, they said.

Inputs have revealed that these recoveries have dealt a serious blow to terrorist outfits and their plans to revive insurgency during the winter, they added.
