Miffed at their relation, man kills daughter’s lover in Ahmedabad

A man allegedly murdered his daughter's lover, as he was miffed with their relationship. The father, Vashram alias Bullet, stabbed the deceased Prahlad Parmar in the Naranpura area on Tuesday evening.

Sources said that Vashram knew of his daughter Meena's affair with Parmar. On Tuesday, Parmar reached Ram Pir Tekra in Nava Vadaj where Vashram lives. The moment he reached the place, Vashram entered into an altercation with his daughter's paramour.
He questioned Parmar as to why he had come there. He also allegedly abused him. When Parmar asked him to stop abusing, an agitated Vashram allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed Parmar in his chest in full public view. Parmar was rushed to the VS hospital by 108 emergency service personnel.

According to a complaint filed by Parmar's father Dalabhai Parmar (46), a labourer, he was informed by the 108 service personnel that his son was in the hospital.

When he went to the hospital, his son told him that he had been assaulted by Vashram. Dalabhai has also said in his complaint that he and Vashram were once neighbours. However, Vashram confronted Dalabhai after he came to know that his daughter was having an affair with Dalabhai's son. Dalabhai then shifted with his family to Shaktinagar Society a few months back to avoid further altercations.

Parmar succumbed to his injuries later in the day, sources said. Police Inspector of Naranpura police station, RT Gohil said that Vashram has been arrested by the police and booked for murder.
