New Delhi: Cold winds blew through the city this morning as the mercury dipped to 7.7 degree Celsius, the season's lowest.

The temperature in the city had been oscillating between eight and 25 degrees Celsius last week. Yesterday, the minimum was 8.6 degree Celsius.

MET officials predicted a further fall in temperature.

"Snowfall in the hills of Northern states besides clear sky will lead to further fall in the temperature," they said.

The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to be around seven and 23 degrees Celsius respectively tomorrow.

Earlier, the season's lowest was 7.9 degree Celsius recorded on November 28, which was also the lowest for the month of November in the past three years.
