An RTI application to improve canteen services in the Delhi University six years ago set Bibhav Kumar on a path that has now made him part of a team supporting Anna.

Bibhav, 30, is part of a small team of volunteers that has an MBA graduate from the US, software and media professionals, and lawyers who gave up lucrative careers in a bid to change the world. Like 26-year-old journalism graduate

Aswathi Murlidharan, who met Arvind Kejriwal two years ago and became part of the movement that has now brought lakhs of citizens flocking to the Gandhian.

It all started with a helpline for RTI activists wanting to take on the establishment.

“Kejriwal’s work and dedication along with strong determination turned me into a dedicated supporter,” Aswathi said. The team has created a Facebook page, a Twitter handle, a website, e-mail accounts, and an Interactive Voice Response system to help people connect with the movement. The Facebook page has 3 lakh fans and receives over 200 comments.
