Maoists have gunned down a villager in Palamau district, the Medininagar police said.
Half-a-dozen armed Maoists forcibly lifted Upendra Yadav from his house at Tal and took him to Heru village under Panki police station and shot him dead last night, the superintendent of police, Jatin Narwal, said. His body was recovered today, he added.
