Maoists abduct village head in Bihar

Around 50 ultras raided a house of Sitaram Rai and took him to an unknown destination at gun-point early this morning in Usri village in Bihar's Darbhanga district.

Armed maoists today abducted a headman of Usri village in Bihar's Darbhanga district, police said.

Around 50 ultras raided a house of Sitaram Rai and took him to an unknown destination at gun-point early this morning, sub-divisional police officer Anjani Kumar Singh.

Raids were on in the area to rescue the village head, he added.
