Manipur ex-CM RK Dorendra joins Trinamool Congress

Senior BJP leader and Manipur's former chief minister RK Dorendra has resigned from the party and joined Trinamool Congress, sources close to the leader said today.
   
Dorendra would soon be appointed the convener of the Manipur Trinamool Congress unit, sources said.

He was chief minister for over ten years when he was a Congress leader, sources said.
   
Dorendra left the Congress and joined the BJP about seven years ago.
