Man with suspected links to Bangalore blasts arrested at airport

A 35-year-old man, against whom the Intelligence Bureau had issued a look out notice for his alleged links with people involved in bomb blasts in Bangalore and Kozhikode, was taken into custody at the international airport here today.

Kabeer, hailing from Kerala's Wayanad district, was about to board a Kuwait-bound flight when he was nabbed by the police following a tip off. The IB had issued a look out notice against him three months back alleging that he had links with people involved in bomb blasts in Bangalore last year and in Kozhikode in the state in March 2006, police said.

The IB had also alerted all airports in the state, sources said, adding officials of IB were questioning him.
