In a compliant filed with the Vastrapur police station, Vishal Dodia, a marketing executive has alleged that he was kidnapped and assaulted by his former colleagues.

Dodia said that he received a call from one of his friend Jeet. When he went to meet Jeet, he was forcibly thrown into an auto rickshaw and was taken to the house of one of the kidnapper. Senior police inspector, Vastrapur, BR Purohit told DNA that Dodia used to work with Naroda-based Markad Marketing Company.

"He had left his job some few days ago. He then began offering jobs to his former colleague on behalf of his present employer," Purohit said. His former colleague, Rahul Mishra along with his other subordinates, Dharmendra Nai alias Dennice, Ranjitsinh Ranjan, and Vakilsinh Dhakod allegedly kidnapped Dodia to teach him a lesson.  "They kidnapped him near the Himalaya Mall and took him to Ranjan's house near Airport in Hansol.

Cops said Rahul was angry over the fact that Dodia was offering jobs to his team members and thus trying to break his team.” Mishra and others allegedly beat Dodia and later on was released him. The police have arrested all the four and will produce them in the court.

Earlier Dodia and Rahul used to work for the same marketing company. Later Dodia got a new job and he began offering jobs to his former colleagues to work with his present employer. "This led to a fight between Rahul and Dodia. Rahul later kidnapped him and assaulted him," Purohit said.
