A man was hacked to death, allegedly by his brother, during a quarrel over land dispute at Mukulapani village, 75 km from here, in Sundergarh district.
Police said Shankar Mundari (36) in a fit of rage turned on his elder brother Ramchandra Mundari (40) yesterday and allegedly axed him to death.
Shankar was arrested and produed before a court at Bonai today which remanded him to jail custody.
