Man found dead after fire engulfs room in Delhi

A man died apparently of suffocation after fire engulfed his house in a west Delhi locality.

Fire officials received a call at 6.20am following which two tenders were sent to the spot in Nihal Vihar block 2.

The fire was brought under control quickly but a man was found dead inside the house, fire officials said.

They said the apparent cause of the man's death was suffocation, but the cause of fire was not yet clear.
