In the second such incident within a span of 18 hours, a 65-year-old man intruded into the IGI airport in New Delhi by climbing a wall before being caught by the security personnel.
The incident took place at around 10 pm last night, a senior police official said.
The man, identified as Fazr Mohammed, climbed the wall of the international airport from the side of emergency gate five but was picked up by CISF personnel.
He was later handed over to police, the official said.
Earlier, at around 4am yesterday, a 28-year-old man who wanted to go to Dubai to earn his livelihood was arrested after he illegally entered the domestic terminal of the IGI and reached the apron area to board an Air India aircraft.
Uday Raj Chauhan, a resident of Uttar Pradesh's Hardoi district, had climbed up a tree and jumped inside the technical area of the domestic terminal.
He then moved to the apron area and was trying to get inside one of the Air India aircraft when he was nabbed by the security staff. Chauhan was also handed over to police.
