Maharashtra SSC results: Passing percentage slips in Chandrapur

A total of 33,671 students from 452 schools in the district had registered for the SSC examinations.

Chandrapur district has registered 64.5% result in the Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSC), 16%less than the previous academic year.

As per the official release, 64.5% of first-time SSC candidates cleared the examination.

Twenty schools in the district have registered 100% result. A total of 33,671 students from 452 schools in the district had registered for the SSC examinations. Out of these, 33,570 appeared and 21,653 cleared the exams. Last year, 81.91% of the students had cleared SSC exams.

Of those who cleared the exams this year, 2897 passed with distinction, 6195 with first grade, 9501 with second grade and 3060 secured pass grade. Girls, with 65.07% of them clearing the exams, were a bit ahead of the boys.

Tehsilwise passing percentages: Chandrapur-70.64%, Ballarpur- 70%, Bhadrawati- 68.34%, Bramhapuri- 65.01%, Chimur- 62.53%, Gondpipri- 57.83%, Korpana-61.53%, Mul - 52.69%, Nagbhid - 35.87%,  Pombhurna 65.26%, Rajura-72.39%, Saoli- 76.32%, Sindewahi- 52.08%, Warora- 65.83% and Jiwti- 89.84%.
