BJP legislator Nana Patole had raised the issue of gunning down of two tribal villagers in Gadchiroli district by Maoists on April 2 and demanded adequate compensation.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan on Tuesday said that he would visit the Maoist-infested district of Gadchiroli after the budget session of the state legislature.
BJP legislator Nana Patole had raised the issue of gunning down of two tribal villagers in Gadchiroli district by Maoists on April 2 and demanded adequate compensation.
Chavan said he would visit the district to meet the families of the two victims and assured the House that his government would do everything possible to nip in the bud the Maoist menace in the state.
