Based on information provided by a villager, policemen searched the place and found the powerful landmine, suspected to be planted by Maoists.

The police today recovered a landmine from Lalganj-Purnaini road near Purnaini in Bihar's Vaishali district, Director General of Police Neelmani said.
Based on information provided by a villager, policemen searched the place and found the powerful landmine suspected to be planted by Maoists, Neelmani said.
"We have decided to give a reward of Rs25,000 to the villager," he said.
