Land broker bashed up on Mirzapur court premises

An alleged goon along with over a dozen of his accomplices bashed up a land broker and his business partner in Mirzapur court premises in the presence of dozens of people on Monday evening.

However, police registered an FIR only after more than four hours of the incident. Meanwhile, the duo was admitted to LG Hospital.

According to cops, Babar Ansari, a resident of Gomtipur and 15 accomplices reportedly started bashing up Dharampalsinh Rajput, a land broker and his partner Raju Patel, with iron pipes, wooden stick and knives. Police said that Ansari is a local goon and had been demanding Rs25 lakh as protection money from Rajput for the last three months.
