A girl from Kazakhstan, currently residing in Goa has come under police scanner following the arrest of a drug dealer, David Griham from Anjuna beach.
       
"The girl, currently missing, is the companion of David alias Dudu, and her statement can shed light on the accused, an Israeli residing in Goa since almost a decade," superintendent of police, Anti-Narcotic Cell (ANC) Veenu Bansal told reporters.
       
David was arrested on Tuesday in the beach village of Anjuna (North Goa) after he was found in possession of variety of party drugs worth Rs3.8 lakh.
      
The sister of the missing Kazakh girl was called to the police station for questioning but till now we have nothing on record to indicate her involvement in the narcotics trade," Bansal said.
       
David had set up two companies in the coastal state, one in 1998 and another in 2004, in the guise of import export business. Police probe has revealed that import export company since its inception in 2004 has earned a profit of Rs32,000.
       
Both companies are being investigated. ANC sleuths raided David's house at Anjuna and are verifying his bank accounts to ascertain his source of income, she said.
       
Also several documents were seized from David's residence, which are being examined, sources said.
       
David was also arrested in Mumbai after a drug raid by Mumbai's ANC in 2008. Earlier, in 2006, he was held for overstaying in the state after expiry of his visa.
