A Kannada outfit on Tuesday staged demonstrations in front of the house of Cooperation Minister Laxman Savadi demanding his and Women and Child Welfare Minister CC Patil's resignations for allegedly watching porn clippings on mobile phone during proceedings in the Assembly.
As many as 20 to 25 Karnataka Rakshana Vedike activists laid siege to Savadi's house and squatted in front of the gate demanding his resignation, Central DCP G Ramesh said.
Security has been tightened at the houses of legislators and ministers in the wake of protest calls given by various political organisations tomorrow, he said.
The KRV activists were taken into custody to prevent any untoward incidents, Ramesh said.
