Union minister of state for commerce and industry Jyotiraditya Scindia has urged Congressmen to dedicate themselves towards nation building and public service.

"We (Congressmen) should dedicate ourselves for building the nation and doing public service," Scindia said while addressing the party workers convention organised as part of Diwali and Eid Milan Samaroh here last evening.

Recalling the sacrifices made by freedom fighters, he said now it is our responsibility to achieve economic independence in terms of overall prosperity and development.
