Joe Biden calls Manmohan Singh; discusses regional and global issues

US vice-president Joe Biden called Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and discussed regional and global issues of mutual concern, the White House has said.

"The vice-president reaffirmed the US commitment in building a global, strategic partnership with India," the White House said yesterday.
