Janata Dal [JD(U)] general secretary, Shivananda Tiwari today demanded immediate dismissal of Union agriculture minister, Sharad Pawar for visiting the house of Shiv Sena chief, Bal Thackeray "with a request to allow holding of IPL cricket tournament in Mumbai."
"I request the prime minister to sack Pawar from the union cabinet for bowing before Thackeray who is out to break the unity and integrity of the country by fomenting regionalsim," Tiwari said.
Pawar was a former BCCI president.
