India and Pakistan Wednesday agreed to continue discussions for a "peaceful solution" to the over 60-year-old Kashmir issue, external affairs minister SM Krishna said.
"On Jammu and Kashmir, we will continue discussion with a view to find a peaceful solution by narrowing down divergences and finding convergences," Krishna said while addressing the media with visiting Pakistan foreign minister Hina Rabbani Khar.
In her address to the media, Khar did not mention the Kashmir issue.
Krishna said the two sides also “decided to resolve outstanding issues with a comprehensive and sustained dialogue”.
