A Pakistan navy advertisement for a multi-national exercise, released on Tuesday, features a photograph of Indian naval warships.

This comes a year after India published an advertisement with the photograph of a former Pakistan air force chief.

The photograph features ships such as Godavari and Talwar-class frigates and Delhi-class destroyers.  Pakistan embassy sources told DNA they were not aware of the goof-up, but, said it was human to make such an error.

Former Indian Air Force (IAF) chief, FH Major said, “We goofed up once and now they’ve goofed up, so we are quits.”

The Indian advertisement that appeared in all leading dailies in January 2010, was made by the government agency — Directorate of Advertising & Visual Publicity (DAVP), featured former PAF chief Tanvir Mahmood Ahmed in uniform with the heading, “Where would you be if your mother was not allowed to be born?”
