Newly-elected mayor of Hyderabad Karthika Reddy is facing pressure to resign in support of a separate Telangana state.
A group of pro-Telangana activists staged a demonstration near her residence here this morning demanding her immediate resignation.
The Congress Corporator was elected to the post on December 4 after last month's election to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).
