Heat wave claims 4 in Chhattisgarh

There are many people who have fallen ill due to heat wave at Madanpur and a team of health officials have been sent to the village which is about 45 kms from Korba.

Heat wave has claimed four lives over the last three days including three children in Korba district, health officials said today.

The deaths have been reported from village Madanpur and Chuidhodha, they said.

Among those who passed away were a child called Harishchandra (12) and one Sangeeta from Madanpur and Ashikkumar(3) and a lady Bandhanbai (60) from Chuidhodha.

There are many people who have fallen ill due to heat wave at Madanpur and a team of health officials have been sent to the village which is about 45 kms from Korba.

Life in Chhattisgarh has been paralised because of the extreme heat and at Korba the temperature is hovering around 43 degree celsius.
