ShareVadodara: In a rare incident, a mother pleaded the magistrate to give her son severe punishment for murdering her husband two years back. After a series of hearings, the magistrate ordered life imprisonment to the accused on Wednesday.
Lalubhai Sharma used to live with his family at the Ranchod park society of Gotri. His family consisted of his two sons Jayesh and Bhavesh and two daughters and his wife Geeta Sharma.
Lallubhai suffered from Cancer before he was murdered by his son. His elder son, Jayesh was jobless and used to ask his mother for money. On September 15, 2007 Jayesh had demanded Rs10 from him and murdered him when he was refused to give him money.
He had hit him with a aluminum rod on his head and back. Geeta on the same day, lodged a complaint against her elder son for killing her husband.
Jayesh was later arrested by the police. The police filed a charge sheet and the case came on the board of the judicial magistrate of Vadodara court. After series of hearing and statements of 14 witnesses and others the final hearing of the case was scheduled on Wednesday.
